April 3, 2023 Speaker: Bernie Florido, Founder and CEO, Cocoflo Innovations

Accrediting all his accomplishments to the life lessons he had learned growing up in adverse third world conditions, Bernie recognized the value of optimism early in life.

This led him to a calling as a Police Officer where he earned various specialty experiences and served for more than a decade before his interest in land development and home building eventually led him to embark on another successful career path of entrepreneurship as the founder of Ember Development Group, and award winning BMF Homes. The combination of these professional experiences, his commitment to the community, and the predominant use of digital services in everyday life, culminated in his new founding role as CEO of Cocoflo (Collective Communication Flow) Innovations.

Bernie is a firm believer in Smart City strategies where there is a focus on simplifying user engagement and interactions between citizens and city administrators to offer agile and effective smart city solutions to everyday civic processes. Empowering and assisting people is a deep-rooted conviction that Bernie holds close to his heart. That is why at Cocoflo, we are bringing world-class digital capabilities to the places, spaces, and everything in between that is smart for citizens and cities.
